Camp Glow: Girls Leading Our World
This handbook documents how to plan and conduct a Camp GLOW (Girls Leading Our World) leadership camp. ...This August, 3 female Peace Corps Volunteers will lead a GLOW camp with 15 high school girls (15-17 years old) from 3 different communities in Romania.  We are also training a young Romanian woman to conduct future camps.  The camp offers a unique opportunity for the girls to learn about leadership, self-confidence and teamwork.  We will also discuss issues like body image, healthy relationships, safe sex practices, domestic violence, and drugs/alcohol use….  

GLOW and TOBE Camps
Camps GLOW (Girls Leading Our World) and TOBE (Teaching Our Boys to Excel) are five day summer camps held in Kolomiya, Ukraine, where students and Volunteers meet for sessions on leadership, human trafficking, HIV/AIDS, the environment, decision making, future planning, and healthy lifestyles. Participants also visited the Shepherd's Valley and Kolomiya Youth Centers and climbed Mt. Hoverla, Ukraine's highest mountain. Get the Camp Manual
